Mission Statement
Our
mission is to be a resource in St.
Louis for innovative performance
improvement practices and to be the
premier networking place for HPT
professionals.
What Is ISPI?
The
International Society for
Performance Improvement
(ISPI) is the leading international association dedicated to improving productivity and performance in the workplace. ISPI represents more than 10,000
international and chapter
members throughout the United
States, Canada, and 40 other
countries. ISPI's mission is to
develop and recognize the
proficiency of our members and
advocate the use of Human
Performance Technology. The St.
Louis Regional Chapter is a
chartered chapter and currently has
about 65 members.
Who Belongs to
ISPI?
Performance technologists, training
directors, human resources managers,
instructional technologists, human
factors practitioners, and
organizational consultants are
members of ISPI. They work in a
variety of settings including
business, academia, government,
health services, banking, and the
armed forces. Since this field
emerged out of the discipline of
instructional design, many
instructional designers who focus on
a holistic approach in improving
human performance are members. |
